Dr. Kumar has done his MBBS and MD from Banaras Hindu University and his DM (Cardiology) from L P S Institute of Cardiology, GSVM Medical College Kanpur. He has got teaching experience during his MD and DM training and post DM training for DNB (Cardiology) trainees at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.

Brief Bio:
He has worked at St. Georges Hospital, London and later on at Southampton University Hospital, U.K as Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He has vast experience in performing complex angioplasties (coronary and peripheral) and doing electrophysiology study, ablations, including complex arrhythmias (AF and VT) and non-contact mapping (CARTO and Endocardial solution, ESI and NAVEX). Kumar excels in implanting devices – like ICD, Combo Devices, Bi-Ventricular pacing, dual chamber pacing and device explantation.
